Second Place in Toss N Fetch at Freedom Weekend Nationals

Toss N Fetch is a timed event where you get 90 seconds to complete up to five catches. Each catch is scored 1 pt for every 10 yards distance with a 0.5 pt bonus if I catch it in the air. Here is a video of my second round toss N fetch.

Dad set up a tailgate tent for us along side the main field.

We stayed cool in the shade while we waited for our turn to play catch.

I caught 5 of 6 throws in the first round for 15 pts.

I caught 3 of 4 throws in the second round for 9 pts. I got a little distracted by the other dogs that looked like they wanted to play with me.

I had so much fun meeting all the other disc dogs and getting to play catch on the big field.

We were so excited to win second place in our novice division.

I guess all those early morning practices really paid off. Dad and I want to thank Aunt Lynn for being our team photographer.

We also want to thank Bob and Donna Bradley for introducing us to the sport, their generous donation of discs, and their helpful web site at www.disc-o-dogs.com

2011 DCA National Dalmatian Speciality Show

Mom and I competed in the DCA National Speciality in Ft. Mitchell, KY. We were nervous but had lots of fun seeing the more than 300 dalmatians. We competed in both sweepstakes and conformation.

There were so many entries that it took three days to complete all the rounds. We particularly liked the elegant Top 20 round with the fancy dresses and music.

I got to reunite with my brother Jackie. He's a handsome boy that is a lot bigger than me. I got to smooch my other Mom Julie and she was happy to see me too.

Mom and I enjoyed the chance to show our stuff with all the big dogs.

It was a lot of fun, but I was glad to get back to my farm and my agility classes.

Merry Go Round Made to Be a Moocher RN

No, it doesn't stand for "registered nurse", it stands for "rally novice". That's my first rally obedience degree. Dad and I qualified for my final two legs to earn my RN degree.

Mom and I won winners female and best of winners. It was so cold in the Garrison Arena I had to wear my fleece coat.

We had fun at the Clemson Dog Show.
