GCH Merry Go Round Made to be a Moocher

We competed in three all-breed and two speciality shows at the Greenville Kennel Club / Dalmatian Club of the Piedmont show cluster.

There were some 50 Dalmatians in attendance.

There were lots of great prizes for the winners.

Many thanks to Tom and Michele Wrath for organizing the Speciality Shows.

Bonnie was exhausted by all the shows.

But she did get Select Bitch on two days of the show earning enough points to finish her Grand Championship!

Here is Mom trying to get me to pose for the photographer.

A new Grand Champion GCH Merry Go Round Made to be a Moocher.

Disc Dogging with the Disc Dogs of the Carolinas

This year I began competing in more disc dog events.

Toss N Fetch involves two events...A timed round where you earn points for your five best catches.  You get one point for each 10 yards of your catch and half a point if you catch it with all four feet off the ground.

I love running down a disc in flight!

The second event is Freestyle and involves scoring for catching discs, coordination, athleticism, creativity and style.

Another event we compete in is called Xtreme distance.  You have 60 seconds to make the longest catch possible.  Note, that Mom has to hold me so that I remain behind the throw line until Dad releases the disc.

My longest catch is 153 feet, but Dad thinks we can do 200 feet someday.

I love this event!

And smooching with Mom!

We have even started doing Freestyle demonstrations at local dog fundraiser events.

Additional events that I have learned include bullseye and time trial.

But I think Freestyle is my favorite!

And Dad and I love every minute together!

Now we have a new disc dog club...Disc Dogs of the Carolinas.

Mom and I enjoyed our spring show schedule around the South.  She and I have such fun in the ring.
