Trek Gets Legs

My little brother Trek is really getting some legs now.

He is kinda of annoying unless he is asleep.

Dad took us on a hike at Table Rock State Park.

Little brother did pretty good keeping up with me.

 

I'm teaching him the basics like how to sit if you want to earn a treat.

He's kinda cute even with that pink striped nose.

I love my little brother Trek, but he can really be a handful to deal with.

Getting Bigger

 Looks like my nose spots are growing together.  Maybe my nose will be all black eventually.

I'm doing well gaining weight. Now it's time to start gaining some height.

Trek's First Two Weeks

 

Last visit to the backyard with my sisters.

Mom's lap makes a good soft bed.

 

But I like my crate too.

Dad's lap is pretty good too.

 

I love to play with my sister in our yard.

 

She is teaching me about how to play nice.

 

And also who is in charge around here.

 

But we can hand out together in the garden.

 

Or on opposite sides of the couch.

 

All of this play makes me a tired and happy boy.

 

So much to be thankful for.

 

I really love this place.

 

And my big sister.

 

Our porch is a big play pen.

Trek Meets Bonnie

OK, so he's kind of rowdy and bites a little too hard, but I am beginning to like him...a little.

Trek Comes Home

I didn't believe Mom and Dad when they told me I was getting a little brother, but now I know that more bad weather is on the way.

Love is on the way

That is what my fortune cookie fortune said.  The next thing I know Mom, Dad and I are taking a drive up to Horse Shoe, NC to visit the Rockstar Dalmatians kennel.

 

And there he was...my little brother Trek.

Who would have thought that Mom and Dad could keep such a big secret from me?

 

I have a lot to teach Trek about how to get everything you want around here.

 

But he is kinda of cute, isn't he?

SC Therapy Dog

Mom and I passed our SC Therapy Dog examination.  Now I can continue my training as a therapy dog.

So far we have visited elementary schools and nursing homes.

We even got to play with special needs kids at Camp Sunshine with my best pal Maheli.

 

I love making therapy visits!

Catches for Cancer Disc Dogathon and Xtreme Distance

 

Had a great time with Dean and all our disc dog friends at Catches for Cancer Disc Dogathon and ACS Relay for Life Fundraiser.

Dad and I had so much fun doing Freestyle, Bullseye and Pairs D/A with Mom.

We even got to meet the Chick-Fil-A Dalmatian.

Dad and I set personal best distances in light plastic (184.5') and unlimited plastic (209.5').

Best of Breed X 2

Had a great time showing in the Winston-Salem and Charleston Dog Shows where we came home with two Best of Breeds.
